Peeps on Parade

Every Easter the Local Paper holds a Peeps Diorama contest. Readers are encouraged to create, photograph and send in pictures of a diorama featuring those sickeningly sweet treats. The entries this year were the best yet. Follow this link to read the article and view a slide show. My favorites are "Spinal Peep" and "The Conclave of Cardinals Elect a New Peep". Check it out.

And I thought we were supposed to be the eccentrics...

Thanks for the laugh, Sven. Martha and I have been chortling for 10 minutes.

Genius!

My daughters loved them. Of course, they didn't get most of them... but they loved them anyway.

I know I'll probably sound like an ignoramus, but what are peeps?

TPF: You don't sound like an ignoramous. Rather, consider yourself lucky that you have never had to suffer through choking down a Peep. Think marshmallows rolled in sugar. Frankly, Peep art is probably a much better use for these horrific creations since they most certainly shouldn't be eaten. Sort of the Easter equivalent of Fruitcake.

Marshmallows rolled in sugar? Wow. Next thing you know, they're going to put peanut butter in chocolate. Oh, wait, they already did that.

LOL! I have a case of these damn things in my pantry. Big guy called and asked if I would get them for him since he's a way at college.

Little guy would rather eat a turd than have to consume one of them.

I think I'm with little guy.

Urm, hello are you still with us. Considering your recent post, I'm getting a little concerned. And look I've aged twenty or so years.
